We are heartbroken to report that the Index Climbers Festival is canceled. 

 

With the turn for the worse in the air quality (currently Very Unhealthy as of Friday night)  and the new Level One evacuation announced  - we just can’t pull it off safely and responsibly or in a way that honors the residents of town while under this threat. 

 

We are so gutted and we hope you understand. 

 

We will be in touch with updates as soon as we have them about refunds and t-shirts and all the other details. 

 

As a reminder, the Index Climbers Festival is planned entirely by volunteers from Seattle and Index. Please be kind to us in your responses. We know you’re disappointed (we are too!) but if you get to be anything, be kind.
